We Thought it imperative that we bring a means of communication to our membership. As we prepare for the summer season we are encumbered with the changes of today’s world. We must be able to continue enjoying our beautiful lake, while being mindful of our neighbors, friends, and family.
We are asking that as a community we practice the guidelines of the Pennsylvania CDC. The covid-19 virus and the state of emergency has impacted our ability to schedule dates for the association meetings and regularly scheduled activities.
Therefore I will tell you what I know:
The Newton Lake Association meetings will be announced via this website.
It is our intention to resume Newton Lake activities per the Pennsylvania state recommendations.
Trash pickup will occur on Monday, June 15, 2020. The trash stickers must be visible on your trash. Stickers are $35.00.
Fireworks are scheduled for Friday, July 3, 2020 with a rain date of Sunday, July 5, 2020.
Nomination and election procedures for the board of directors is yet to be announced.
Although the lake water is monitored by the state of Pennsylvania, I am looking for persons interested in collecting data for our environment committee. Please let me know if you are interested.
Please review the Newton Lake boating regulations for everyone’s safety.
In order to keep everyone safe and be able to enjoy the lake remember to continue social distancing and masking when applicable. It may be your love one you save!
